Green Beans

Green beans are great alongside mashed potatoes, squash and turkey breast.


1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
1 small white diced onion
2 T grapedeed or *olive oil
2 *cloves garlic crushed
1/2 cup vegetable stock

Heat skillet to medium-high
Add 1 tablespoon of oil
Saute garlic until ightly browned and set aside
After a minute add the green beans, stir for 2-3 minutes
Add vegetable broth and cook for around 3 minutes, or until beans are slightly tender; the longer you cook them the more tender they become
Add the garlic and cook for about half a minute

Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
