Roasted, spicy seeds inside a turtle shell
These seeds can be used in a variety of ways, from sprinkled on salads, added to breads, or eaten alone as a snack.
1 c pumpkin seeds
1 t sugar
Dash (1/4 t) sea salt
Spicy Version Ingredients:
1 c pumpkin seeds
*3-4 cloves fresh garlic
1 T dried red chile peppers, crushed
Dash salt
*juice of ½ lime
Add seeds to a heated frying pan
Stir seeds continually until they swell.
Add other ingredients and stir.
For spicy version, squeeze lime juice on seeds after they are placed in serving bowl

You also can dry them in the oven. After washing to remove all the stringy parts, spread seeds on a baking sheet and drizzle with vegetable oil. Or try grapeseed oil. Roast for 10 minutes at 325, Check a few seeds at the 7 minute mark. The insides will burn first so make sure they don't overcook. .
